2. Arlington Road (Same as #1)

3. The Jackal (I just like the song "Massive Attack")

*Interesting note: The guy that did the titles for Arlington Road also did them for Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2. He's done some really impressive work.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">i read an interview with him in some magazine recently (POST, maybe?) and he said that he has been turned down several times by directors and producers who don't want the feature upstaged by the opening credits. that's gotta be the worst/best thing you could possibly hear about your work.

I studied up on IF's Kyle Cooper and his work back in college. I was a graphics major in school, so we learned about designer Paul Rand, who's Cooper's hero and a huge icon in the graphics world. Paul Rand happened to do the sequences for North by Northwest and The Man with the Golden Arm. Psycho included, and supposedly it was actually Rand himself that directed the shower scene in Psycho.

Rand even did films into later years... I know that Scorcese's Cape Fear was among his more modern credits. Dunno if he's done more since then.

Actually, I think you're confusing Rand with Saul Bass, who designed a lot of movie title sequences in the early 50's though about '95. Bass and Rand were contemporaries. You can see a lot of Bass' influence in IF's work.
